This half term, the Year 2 children have been developing their skills in manipulating a variety of materials and tools. They applied these techniques to explore joining and shaping clay. As part of this learning, we have studied the work of renowned sculptors Elizabeth Frink, Antony Gormley and Henry Moore, focusing on the human form to inspire the design and creation of their own clay sculptures.
